Urugwiro Cb Group's story

Marie is a 51-year-old widowed mother of three children who are between 22 and 32 years old. And for the past three years she has owned a grocery store.

She is the leader of the group called Urugwiro Cb group which in English means “hospitality” group. Members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Marie will use her loan to buy more beans and rice to sell in her community to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales she hopes to be able to increase her savings and also provide for the family.
