A loan of $625 helps to buy fertilizer.

Marcos Vicente's story

Marcos lives in the village of Arenas Blancas with his family. He is a farmer who obtains most of his income from agriculture. He cultivates good quality cassava, because he cares for his crops well in order to later sell them at an excellent price. Marcos is very responsible with his crops, and he enjoys providing them with excellent maintenance.

Marcos is requesting a loan to buy organic and chemical fertilizers for his crops so that he can get a good harvest. He is very satisfied with the friendly and good treatment that he has received on the part of Prisma and Kiva.

Marcos is very grateful for the support he is receiving. His dream is to get a good harvest.

This loan is special because:

It has a below-market interest rate and is repaid at harvest, when farmers can more easily repay.
