Cinderella Gwevira Tambe's story

Cinderella Gwevira Tambe is a 40-year-old mother of four, her children are ages 14, 12, 9 and 7. She has her partner who is a local bus driver. She currently lives with her partner and children in their own home which is located in a village that is about 20 minutes drive off Port Vila city. Her community is large, and the main industry is agriculture. The demand for locally produced food has been high so making income has been satisfactory.

Cinderella Gwevira Tambe has requested a loan to purchase retail goods to stock up her small shop to provide for her customers and increase her income. She wants to increase her stock as the demand for certain goods have been high. She will use the earned revenue to complete her unfinished home.

Cinderella Gwevira Tambe started her shop back 2017, she has had a slight set back when Covid-19 hit Vanuatu in early 2020, but she is positive in making her business grow. This is her second loan with South Pacific Business Development (Vanuatu) Ltd. She has faithfully repaid her first loan on time. Cinderella Gwevira Tambe is motivated through her loans to expand her business so her children can have something for their own when they are older.
