08-Diafar Douma Group's story

This group was created in December 2001. It houses these 12 women who are active in retail commercial as their main revenue-generating businesses. They live in the same village and enjoy good relations.

Ms. Awa, aged 51, is the group's representative and appears by herself in the photo to respect the measures taken against COVID-19. She is the married mother of seven children and has two others to support.

Her new loan will be used to purchase sugar and some condiments to resell. She also sells pigs. She is planning to cover the school fees for her children, as well as their healthcare and food.
