A loan of $725 helps to expand her farming business by buying sheep to fatten up and sell on.

Salicha's story

Salicha used her loan as intended and she has how paid it back. She is grateful to Kiva and to everyone who helped her financially. She now has two cows and a horse. She also has a 1.2-hectare plot of land where she grows peppers which she sells and uses for livestock feed.

In order to expand her business, Salicha has decided to buy sheep to fatten up and sell on. Therefore, she has approached Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 60,000 som. She plans to invest the profit from the loan in further developing her business.
