Percy's story

Percy is 33 years old and is a cheerful and hardworking husband and father. He lives in his own house with his wife Marisol, 24, and their two minor children, who are the reason for all of his hard work. Percy grown potatoes, beans and peas. That is why every morning he works in his agricultural fields, trying to make them more fertile and productive. He takes his crops to sell in the wholesale market in the city of Tarma, where he gets very good prices, due to the high quality of his crops. What he likes the most about his work is protecting his crops from the pests that can affect them. He has been doing this for 23 years and for him the hardest thing is having to transport his cproducts to the market. With time, he hopes to buy or rent new land with which he can increase his production. This is his fourth loan with MFP. He knows that he has to make all of his payments on time if he doesn't want to cause trouble for his community group. He is a very responsible and punctual member. With the three thousand nuevos soles that he has asked for, he will buy more fertilizer for his crops.
