A loan of $600 helps to pay for field labor to grow organic produce.

Shayirbek's story

Shayirbek, age 34, is married and has three children. He has a secondary education and has been raising livestock and crops since 2009 as the primary source of income for his family. Thanks to his hard work, his farm currently has two cows, as well as a 1.12-hectare plot of land where he grows barley and tomatoes.

In order to further develop his farm, Shayirbek applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 50,000 som (KGS) to pay for field labor to grow organic produce. Profits from the loan will help him build a house for his family.

Translated from Russian.
