A loan of $2,375 helps to buy dairy cows in order to increase her sales of milk to a local plant.

Gulmira's story

Gulmira has successfully repaid her previous loan, and is grateful to Kiva and to all who helped her with that financing. Her farm presently consists of a cow, 12 sheep, three horses, and a 0.4-hectare plot of land on which she grows beans. In order to develop her business further, Gulmira has again turned to Bai Tushum Bank, this time for a loan of 200,000 som (KGS), to buy dairy cows. Her goal in this is to increase her sales of milk to a local dairy plant. She is planning to put the income generated by the loan into business expansion.
