A loan of $1,775 helps to purchase dairy cows in order to increase her sales of milk to a local factory.

Narkul's story

Narkul is 56 years old and married. She has secondary education. As the primary source of income for her family, she has been practicing animal husbandry and plant agriculture since 2000. Thanks to her hard work, her farm currently has 3 cows, 12 sheep, and a plot of land measuring 1.98 hectares on which she grows beans. She has an agreement for the delivery of organic milk to a local factory for further processing into dairy products. This allows her to constantly reinvest in her agricultural business. Through Bai Tushum bank, she can receive a loan under the security of her contract for further delivery, under their "Chain of Value Added" service. Having discovered this, she has requested a loan in the amount of 150,000 somoni (KGS). This will be used to purchase dairy cows with the goal of increasing her sales of milk. Payments from the factory for the milk will be transferred directly into her bank account, while loan payments will be automatically deducted. The profits from the loan will help Narkul expand her farm.
