A loan helped buy piglets, rice bran and phytosanitary products to strengthen her livestock breeding.

Tiana's story

Tiana is a widowed woman. She is 36 years old and cares for her three children on her own. She lives in a village on the outskirts of town and owns a solid house.

Tiana fights to have a better living condition for her family. To increase her income, she is involved in pig farming. She also practices agriculture. Tiana decided to take out a loan from Vahatra. The loan will be used to increase her pigs to be raised. She therefore asked for the support of lenders to buy piglets, rice bran and phytosanitary products to strengthen her breeding.

Tiana is going to resell her herds at the market in the neighboring town. She hopes to make more profit from it to increase her savings. She plans to expand her home later.
