A loan helped to buy livestock and increase his livestock-breeding income.

Erlan's story

The 26-year-old Erlan lives with his wife and child in Nooken district, a mountainous region with spacious pasturage that is ideally suited to livestock breeding. He has been in agriculture for five years at this point, as a breeder of cattle, horses, and sheep. He also has a 0.36-hectare plot of land on which he grows hay for his animals. Erlan is doggedly striving to expand his business, and is requesting Kiva's support in the amount of 50,000 som (KGS) to increase his livestock headcount. The income from that will help him improve his family's material well-being.
