A loan helped a member to buy animals to resell as a part of taking care of his family.

Benkadi Group's story

Broulaye is a cattle raiser who is 46 years old. He is a husband and father of two boys who are not school-aged. His wife takes care of the home. As a measure to protect against COVID-19, he is representing his group by himself in the photo. Broulaye has about seven years of experience raising cattle and did not go to school. He raises the animals in the family yard, where he has access to a source of water, which allows him to give water to his animals. He also has a place on which he better channel his animals, but also prevent other animals from entering. To make his dream come true, he turned to RMCR to have a loan in order to build up his business and practice modern raising techniques. He acquires his animals in the rural market and resells them to potential customers. The profits from this business allow him to support his family responsibilities. He is the president of his group.
