A loan of $375 helped repair and maintenance costs for his mototaxi.

Carlos Miguel's story

Carlos Miguel is a 31 year old father. He lives with his family in the Guadalupe district, which belongs to the Pacasmayo province in the La Libertad region. It is located one hour and ten minutes from the city of Chiclayo, the capital of the Lambayeque region. He provides cargo and passenger transportation in his “mototaxi” (a motorized vehicle, which is a motorcycle that has a cabin attached in order to provide transportation service). He provides service in the Guadalupe district and the surrounding areas. This activity is the only one that provides him with income. Therefore, he always tries to do it in the best possible way. He is currently associated with other people who do the same work. Together they have a stop at the Plaza de Armas in his district. The continuous use of his vehicle has caused it to start having some motor problems. These require urgent repairs to guarantee that it functions correctly. Carlos Miguel wants to make these repairs and perform the necessary maintenance in order to be able to work without problems. That is why he has requested a loan for 1,000 PEN from Edpyme Alternativa. Carlos Miguel is a hard-working man. His greatest desire is to keep working in order to be able to give his family a better quality of life.
