Luz Marina's story

The member lives in Santiago district, Cusco province, Cusco department. She’s a member of the “TRES MARIAS” (Three Marys) communal bank.

She is Luz Marina, 35. She lives with her significant other and has three children. She completed secondary school but due to lack of financial resources was unable to study a professional career and has worked at a variety of jobs since then managing to support her children. Currently she’s in retail commerce, she sells manioc in Santiago’s Huancaro market. During the school year she also sells school supplies informally at the school supply fairs that open every February.

She is asking for funds to buy products like manioc in order to increase sales in the market.

She is grateful for and values the loan granted because it permits her business to grow and her quality of life to improve. She pledges to repay in a timely fashion.
