San Miguel Group's story

The group called San Miguel is in its 21st cycle with the women's committee program, where everyone works and helps each other to get ahead. They have focused on a goal of being able to grow, not only economically, but also as people. They are also in the poverty elimination program.

One of them is Mercedes, who helps support her family through effort and continuous work, and through selling food. She is an entrepreneurial person who started with very little and has been improving herself and growing little-by-little to help her family and give them a better quality of life so they do not lack anything.

She is asking for this loan to buy ingredients to make her foods, such as condiments, vegetables, meats, eggs and other products.

Note: In the photo there is only one person, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo in order to avoid gatherings of people due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In this group: Andrea, Antonia, Myriam, Hilaria, Ana, Yoassi, Isabel, Inocencia, Yuliana, Lucia, Mercedes, Maricel, Lucina, Karen, Viviana, Epinafia, Sandra
