A loan of $1,200 helped buy raw materials to make food.

María Isabel's story

María Isabel P. O., age 48, lives with her only daughter who is 16 years old. They live in the Lourdes Colón municipality. María has a diner named Karen, which is located in her house. She has worked there for 14 years making breakfasts and lunches. At first she only sold the meals to her neighbors. But now she sells to public transportation motorists. This has allowed her to increase her sales and become more well-known in her area.

María needs to be able to increase her raw materials in order to be able to wait on more customers. That is why she is requesting a loan from Integral. She will use the loan to buy a greater quantity of vegetables, basic grains, fruit, juices, sodas, and everything that is needed to be able to better tend to her customers. She will also be able to take care of more customers.

She very much wishes to be able to take advantage to the maximum of this situation. This is because it is the only way that she earns a living. It has allowed her to be able to support her daughter for a long time. She is a single mother, and she is the only one that watches out for her home and her daughter’s well-being.
