Las Bebitas Group's story

The "Las Bebitas" communal bank is made up of eight members and is led by Guillermina, age 56. She is in the photo along with her two colleagues who serve as treasurer and secretary. The three represent the communal bank and are belong to its board of directors. They are alone in the photo because of the pandemic.

Guillermina has four children and works selling food. She prepares juane (a traditional meat and rice dish), chicken soup, tacacho (roasted banana), cured meats, roasted chicken, and pataraschca (a fish and vegetable dish).

Six years ago she began her work preparing and selling a variety of dishes. Now she is requesting this loan to buy supplies like chicken, cured meats, hens, and condiments to continue preparing different typical regional dishes to offer to her customers.

Additionally, Guillermina has a three-wheeled taxi that generates income to improve finances for the wellbeing of her family. She has goals, like expanding her house and having her own restaurant. Her husband supports her a lot; he works for the town.

Guillermina considers herself to be a happy, hardworking woman who is a fighter and who wants to best for her family. She is ready and willing to keep improving and working.
