A loan helped to buy clothing and basic grains.

María Bertha's story

45-year old María Bertha C. is a hardworking, enterprising woman who puts a great deal of effort into all that she does. In 2005 she began selling clothing and then started her own stall selling snacks.

Today both businesses are doing well, and she also sells basic grains, meat, soft drinks, and milk products etc. from her stall.
