Jose Pedro's story

Jose is 48 years old, and resides in the Corralito canton, living in the Corinto Morazán state. He work in farming. He has been a farmer, growing grain for 25 years. It was his father who got him into farming, sewing corn, beans, and native corn, he works from 6:00 in the morning until 2:00 in the afternoon. He likes his work a lot and currently he has seen the need to acquire a loan to invest in the purchase of fertilizer and nutrients for his corn crop. With the purchase of fertilizer, Jose hopes to have a more bountiful harvest, from which he plans to sell one part and his family will consume the other part. He aspires to have a flourishing harvest to buy animals in the future such as cows and pigs and to devote himself to raising and selling cattle and improve the quality of his family's life.
