A loan helped to purchase building materials to fix her partially damaged house and fences, and to restore the farm.

Mariana's story

Mariana plants and sells fruits and vegetables for a living to help with her family expenses.

Unfortunately, her farm was damaged by Tropical Cyclone Yasa, so she was forced to pick all her fruits, especially the watermelons. It hurt her so much because they contributed the most to her income.

Today, Mariana would like to seek your financial assistance so that she may revive her farm and also pay for the damage done to it and her home as well. She will need to purchase building materials for her home and farm and she does not have enough money to do so on her own. Besides government assistance which Mariana expects to take at least six months to arrive, you are her last remaining chance to fix her home and farm so that her family can all live together again in the future.

This loan is special because:

It provides emergency funding to clients affected by tropical cyclone Yasa.
