A loan helped a member to buy 30 crates of beverages, which will strengthen her initial capital.

La Sagesse Group's story

Ms. Christine is a client of Hekima MFI and is the president of the village group "LA SAGESSE" [meaning wisdom]. She is divorced, 45 years old and mother of 5 children who are all in school. She sells beverages.

She started this business in 2013 with the start-up funds received from her IGAs. Later she involved the Hekima program to support her business, during which she gradually evolved. With this new loan, she will stock 30 crates of beverages, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is related to unpaid debts.

She would like her children to continue studying and
also to renovate her house.

Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support provided to owners of non-bankable businesses in this context of the global covid-19 crisis. The photo only shows the leader of the group due to covid-19, in compliance with social distancing measures.
