A loan helped to buy more beer and spirits to sell in his pub.

Ambrose's story

Ambrose, 47 years old, is requesting a loan to buy more beer and spirits to sell in his pub in Kamwenge, Uganda. He is a married man with five children, all now are students. He started this business to enable him to generate income and to become self-employed to sustain his family and to support his children in school through the provision of school fees. He works endlessly to transform his business into a big bar amidst limited capital and stiff competition. But he has hopes that, with the use of borrowed funds, he will achieve more, and, engaging his wife in running the business together, will accumulate wealth to sustain their family needs.
