A loan helped to buy pigs, potatoes, and balanced feed.

Veronica's story

Verónica, 24, lives in a rented house in the Centenario neighborhood. She is a single mother from Ipiales, Colombia. She barely has an elementary school education. She has been working as a day worker ever since her adolescence. Verónica wishes for her daughter to have a better future. That is why she is prepared to strive for this.

Verónica wishes to get a loan to buy pigs and feed for them in order to raise them. This way she aspires to generate earnings to provide the necessities to her daughter, especially when work as a day worker is scarce.
