A loan of $725 helped to buy aluminum and glass to expand his door and counter-making business.

Victor Manuel's story

Victor Manuel is a 48 year-old father. He lives with his wife and their two children in the agricultural district of Cayaltí, which is an area that has experienced a growing commercial movement in recent years. It is located one hour from the city of Chiclayo.

Victor has worked for over three years making aluminum doors and counters in a small workshop located in the district where he lives. This business was well-received because there were few workshops of this type in the area. His principal customers are merchants who need counters to show their products, as well as the general public. This business is his main source of livelihood and he works hard to help his family get ahead.

Victor Manuel hopes to develop his business by purchasing more materials like aluminum and glass, with which he will be able to augment his production and earn more income. In order to achieve his goal, he has requested a loan (of 2000 nuevos soles) from Edpyme Alternativa for the first time.

He is a quite well-known and respected person in the area where he lives. His greatest dream is to provide his family with the quality of life they deserve.
