A loan of $375 helped to buy feed so that he can improve his business of raising small animals for sale.

Félix Juan's story

Felix is a 23 year-old father who lives with his wife and their children in the Yencala Boggiano neighborhood, a rural area in the Lambayeque district. This area has a moderate level of commerce, and belongs to the province of the same name. It is located 20 minutes from the city of Chiclayo. For 4 years he has been raising and selling animals. He raises barnyard fowl and small animals at the back of his house. When they have reached an adequate level of development he offers them for sale to the traders who visit his area frequently. This activity provides him with a stable source of income, with which he can provide for his young family. He also works as a farmhand. Felix wants to improve the raising of his animals by acquiring nutritionally balanced feed, so he can get a better price for them. To achieve this objective he has seen the need to request, for the first time, a loan from Edpyme Alternativa for 1,000 Peruvian soles. Felix is a hardworking father who always ensures that his family members have what they need for their development and well-being. His dream is to have land to cultivate so that he could have permanently higher earnings.
