A loan of $575 helped buy products to resell.

Jacqueline Del Rosario's story

Sra. Jacqueline del Rosario P. M., 22, is married and, despite her young age, has two young children not yet in school. Her husband--he is both head of the house and the main breadwinner--works as a driver and shares the family expenses.

Sra. Jacqueline operates a business selling cheeses and dairy products. For a year and a half, she has worked at a job in the free trade zone, work that has provided the family with a fixed income and greater economic security. It's for the business, though, that she is applying for a loan. She will use it to buy cheese and dairy products and, in turn, increase her sales. This investment will provide her business with the capital that it needs to develop, something that will improve her economic condition and her family's.
