Kuña Aty Group's story

The name of this committee is Kuña Aty. It was founded in Caaguazú when a group of local friends and neighbors joined together in setting a goal for themselves: to grow not only in the financial sense but also as people. They are also in the poverty elimination program.

Petrona is one of the members of this group of women. She works in retail. Her modest grocery store is well stocked with all kinds of products and she says her business has allowed her to support her family and give them everything she was not able to have. She says she is happy with the opportunity of belonging to the group and that it will be of great help to her.

She is requesting this loan to buy assorted products in order to keep up sales, such as bread, vegetables, fruit, canned goods, dairy products, and other items.

Note: The photo only shows one borrower but this is a group loan. Because of Covid-19 and the need to avoid people gathering, it was not possible to take a group photo.

In this group: Arminda, Narcisa, Rosana, Petrona, Donatila, María, Nilsa, Crecensia, Liliana, Anglina, Cinthia, Victoriana, Jessica
