Maria Argentina's story

María Argentina is a 30-year-old single mother. She lives with her three children in a community in the municipality of Intibucá, which is in the Department of Intibucá. María Argentina has always dedicated herself to agriculture by cultivating potatoes for the past 10 years as her source of income. She sells what she produces in the same area.

María Argentina wants to invest in her business, so she is requesting a loan from ODEF in the amount of 7,000 HNL. She plans to invest in her planting and also buy fertilizers for preparing her land. María Argentina hopes to keep her land in good condition. Her goal is to make improvements to her home with the profit she earns, as well as provide a better quality of life for her children.
