Jessie's story

Jessie is a 36-year-old woman who is a single mother with one child who lives in a community in Honiara, capital of Solomon Island.

She runs a small marketing business making and selling fish and chips, cakes and cold green coconuts at the market to earn a living. She has been in this business for one year.

Jessie has requested a loan to pay for additional flour, cooking oil, pans and a food cooler for her business.

She will use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and improve her business.
