A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child’s education needs.

Siti Hayati's story

Good day lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Siti Hayati. She is 31 years old, married and has two daughters and one son. Siti Hayati is a housewife that takes care of her children and her husband runs a business of waste management. One of her children is still in school.

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their family is the implementation of school from home that uses an online system. This made it difficult for their child to access the course materials and sending assignments to the teacher.

She has applied for a loan of 2,000,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child’s education needs. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her husband’s business.

Siti Hayati is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children and improves the living conditions and creates a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank to all lenders.

Note: The girl in the photo is Siti Hayati’s daughter who is still in school.

This loan is special because:

It allows students of every economic background to pursue education.
