Emelyn S. is from the village of Upper Lamac, Oroquieta City. She is 39 years old. Emelyn is married and has 3 school-aged children. To make a living, Emelyn owns & operates a business venture in the agriculture sector raising crops. While not the only means for generating revenue, the main source of income for the business comes from cultivating fruit trees and harvesting fruit such as mangoes and avocados for sale. Emelyn has been engaged in her business for over 16 years and earns approximately 8,000 PHP a month for these activities.
In 2008, Emelyn joined GDMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities.
