A loan of $2,050 helped a member to buy jackets, sweatshirts, sweaters, jeans and other clothing items.

San Roque Group's story

This committee organized itself in Caaguazú’s San Lorenzo neighborhood; each group member is involved in a different activity according to her means. Zulma, who is the group leader, is a very active woman who’s involved in a variety of activities to help her community and her family. She sells clothes in a room she has in her home for this purpose; her daughter tends to the store while Zulma is busy doing other things. Zulma encourages all her friends to work and get ahead and she uses the opportunity provided by the loan to start some work that will benefit her family. She is asking for funds to buy stock items for her store, especially winter items.
