Manantial Group's story

The Manantial (Spring) lending group is in the 31st cycle of the women's committee program. The members of the group all work and help each other to get ahead. They are seeking a loan to improve their quality of life and to overcome their financial situations.

Virginia is a member of the group who works selling fruit and fish. Her business is modest but it has allowed her to get ahead with her family and cover their household expenses. She is an enterprising woman who started with very little but has been able to improve and grow little by little. Her goal is to continue to work so that she can continue to provide her family with everything that they need to live a dignified life.

She is seeking this loan to purchase fresh fruit and fish to sell.
