María Anita's story

María Anita, 42, lives with her husband and children in Pacasmayo district, a district that is bathed by the waters of the Pacific Ocean; it is a member of Pacasmayo province and is located in La Libertad region, two hours from the city of Chiclayo, Lambayeque region’s capital.

For over 8 years she has prepared and sold beverages in her district’s market. She prepares soja (soy bean), oatmeal and purple chicha (a typical drink of the country made from purple corn) at home and sells it daily. Her main customers are the various merchants in the area and people who frequent the foodstuffs wholesale market to buy various products.

This business is an important source of income for her family so María Anita always puts in her best effort to run it in the best possible way. She hopes to expand her business buying more ingredients and tools that will help her grow. She is, therefore, asking Edpyme Alternativa for a 2000 new sol loan that will help her reach this objective.

María Anita is a cheerful woman who daily makes the effort to succeed and raise her loved ones. She has collaborated with our Institution in the past and has always been punctual and responsible with her repayments.
