Margarita's story

Margarita is a 53-year old mother, who lives with her husband and children in the city of Chiclayo. Chiclayo is known nationally as the City of Friendship, and it is one of the main commercial areas in the north of the country because of the transportation routes and trade.

For more than 10 years she was worked selling food out of a restaurant attached to her home, which is located near the main market of the city. This good location means that she has constant demand almost every day year-round. Her specialty is typical regional food and thanks to her food's rich flavor her restaurant is well known and she has a group of loyal customers.

Margarita wants to improve the furniture in her restaurant by buying new chairs and tables to expand the capacity and make her customers more comfortable. To make these purchases she decided to apply for her first loan from Edpyme Alternativa for a loan of 2000 new soles.

Margarita is an earnest and hard-working woman. Her wish is to keep growing her business and one day have a bigger restaurant. In her neighborhood she is considered to be kind and trustworthy.
