Naomi's Group's story

Naomi is 37 years old and has 4 children. She has been a farmer for 15 years and is always said to be a very resourceful person. Even though Naomi is the only one featured in the above picture, she is representing 7 farmers in Lugari District, Kenya.

Naomi started working alongside One Acre Fund in 2013, and decided to do so because she wanted to have access to quality training and acquire new farming methods. Since then, she has seen her life improve and has been able to consistently feed her family ever since. This year, she decided to represent her group because she wanted to help more farmers.

Naomi’s Group will receive farming inputs to plant 4.25 acres of land. The group will also receive 5 solar lights.
