10 Nogoye Group's story

This group was formed in 2018. It consists of 15 women who come from the same area and who are united by good neighbourly relations.

Madame Nogoye is standing with raised hand on the right side of the photo. She is 27 years old and the mother of three children, all of whom attend school. Nogoye is very dynamic; she is committed to and plays an important role in her community's development activities.

For nearly two years, Nogoye has been working in retail, selling a variety of fabrics. She has gained valuable experience. With her new loan she will purchase bales of assorted fabrics, which she will resell in her neighbourhood.

The profits from her business enable Nogoye to contribute to her family's economic management.
