Tinare Hawa Group's story

This loan request is made by all twenty members of the group, in order to expand their goat and sheep breeding businesses.

Mrs. Coumba is the president of Tinare Hawa Group (whose name means "determination"). She is the one in the picture with the ram. She's 36 years old, married and the mother of five children, including three who go to school. Her husband is a farmer. She never went to school. She dreams of developing her activity and having a large breeding farm.

She raises livestock and, at the same time, she's also has a secondary business as a market-gardener. She has a good experience in her main business, which she's been running for 13 years. With her profits, she manages to help her husband cover the children's school and healthcare expenses.
