A loan helped a member to buy supplies for farming products and pigs for butchering. The loan also helps to buy a chainsaw, and to maintain two tractors to thresh corn and sorghum.

Las Cenicientas Group's story

Nicolasa (in the middle with short hair and the floral blouse) is 65 years old and is the president of the communal bank "Las Cenicientas". For 20 years she has worked in a manner of solidarity. Together with her husband, they have a family business in farming services.

Today she needs a loan in order to purchase supplies for farming products, to buy pigs to butcher, to buy a chainsaw and also to maintain two tractors, used to thresh corn and sorghum. For 15 years they have worked in this manner.

Although their main challenge is natural events, and currently COVID-19, they trust that 2021 will be a good year.
