A loan of $5,900 helps a member to buy sheep to resale.

Ceca Book Jub Luwaye De Farato Group's story

Mr Ousmane is the person on the photo. He is at the same time the president of the group "CECA BOOK JUBLUWAYE DE FARATO" in Wolof language, the most spoken language in Senegal, which means "GOING IN THE SAME DIRECTION". He was appointed with the consent of all the eight members of the group.

He is polygamous and father of 7 children, aged between 2 and 9 years old. One of his wives is a vendor and the other a farmer. Mr. Ousmane has always had ambitions to be a great breeder. Indeed he is the owner of many animals (sheep, cows, goats).

He has used the financial institution to increase his livestock but also to buy food for the animals. He buys his supplies through the weekly markets of the region of Kaffrine in SENEGAL. His projected monthly income is 84,000 CFA francs. He has been in the business of breeding, farming and selling livestock for more than 17 years. Part of the loan will be used to buy sheep and the other part to feed his animals.

It is a business that he does with a lot of love. It allows him to maintain his financial autonomy and to handle the daily life of his children.

The obstacle is the lack of security with the thieves who roam around.

In this group: Ousmane, El Hadji, Mandao, Aly, Lahine, Moth, Abdou, Ousmane
