A loan helped to buy chickens, corn, and chicken feed.

Blanca's story

Blanca, 64, is a widow who lives alone in the town of Paja Blanca. This is where she earns a living doing day work and raising animals. She wants to boost her business raising chickens, which is why she is humbly requesting a loan of $500 to buy chickens, corn, and chicken feed. This way, she will be able to raise a larger number of chickens to sell, so that she will be able to gradually increase the income she uses to support herself.

(Note: Blanca is wearing a mask because of Covid-19).
