Women Of Faith Group's story

Comfort H., who is holding the sign, is the leader of a group of five borrowers called Women Of Faith. She is 45 years old, married and has four children who range from 20 to 27 years old. She is a graduate of Teacher Training School. Comfort cares for three siblings.

For 10 years, Comfort has been selling bread, cookies, farina and beans in Jacob’s Town community, outside Monrovia, Liberia.

She plans to use her 6,000 Liberian Dollars portion of this 30,000 Liberian Dollars group loan to buy flour, farina and beans. She describes herself as quiet and jovial. Her goal is to improve her business and transform it into a bakery.
