Eam's story

Eam R., 31, is married and resides with her husband and three children in Takeo Province, Cambodia, an area known for pre-Angkorean temples. R. grows rice to sell for an income of US $0.80 per day. Her husband sells meatballs, earning an income of about US $10 per day to help cover the family expenses. R. is requesting a loan of US $700 to purchase a motorbike for her husband to transport meatballs to sell. In the future, she would like to use any additional profit to repair her house. This is her first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia.
