This time Ridwan has a motorcycle taxi business. Every day he works from the Ubung terminal from mornings to evenings. His nett profit is about Rp25,000.00 (about US$2.75)/day. His numbers are calculated after he subtracted operational expenses, for gasoline of about Rp25,000.00 ($2.75)/day. The expected loan, would be used to buy a motor cycle. He sees an opportunity for motor cycle taxi at night. If he could do this, his nett income could increase to between Rp25,000.00-Rp50,000.00 (about $2.75-$5.50)/day. Ridwan lives in a rented home with his wife and 2 children. This business are the only income for Ridwan family, since his wife is jobless. Daily living expenses are Rp20,000.00 ($2.20), and children education expenses are Rp60,000.00 (about $6.60)/month. He has to work very hard for it.

Saat ini Ridwan mempunyai usaha tukang ojek. Setiap harinya dia bertempat di terminal Ubung dari pagi sampai sore hari. Keuntungan bersihnya mencapai Rp 25.000,00/hari. Angka itu diperoleh setelah dipotong biaya operasional, yaitu bensin ± Rp 25.000,00/hari. Pinjaman yang diperoleh akan dipakai untuk membeli sepeda motor. Dia melihat peluang untuk ngojek di malam hari. Apabila dia melakukannya, penghasilan bersihnya bisa mencapai Rp 25.000,00 – RP 50.000,00 per harinya. Ridwan tinggal di rumah kontrakkan bersama isteri dan kedua anaknya. Usaha ini merupakan satu-satunya tumpuan harapan bagi Ridwan sekeluarga, karena isterinya tidak bekerja. Biaya hidup per hari Rp 20.000,00 dan biaya pendidikan anak Rp 60.000,00 per bulan. Dia harus kerja keras untuk itu.
