A loan of $1,000 helped a member to purchase repair tools for her husband's motor workshop.


Adiba Siddique's Group's story

Adiba siddique has been living in Borewala, city of shrines, in Pakistan for the last 16 years with her husband and four children, who are all getting their education. Her husband is a motor mechanic, while Adiba sews clothes for her neighborhood clients in order to support her husband financially. Adiba’s husband runs a motor workshop in the market where he can repair every kind of vehicle. He started learning this art at a young age, and now he is an expert at it. Adiba has applied for a loan from Asasah to invest the loan amount in her husband’s workshop. The amount will help him buy new repair tools for his workshop. She is hopeful that the investment in her husband’s business will make it more profitable.
