A loan helped a member to buy animals for resale in order to increase his income.

Jekafo Group's story

Tahirou is the leader of the group. He is 40 years old, married and has 5 children between the ages of 3 and 14, one of whom goes to school. His wife raises sheep for the well-being of the family.

Tahirou has been raising sheep for the past 15 years. He buys and resells the sheep in the fairs of his village. His profit can range between 20,000F and 25,000F per head. With the sale of his animals, he manages to meet the nutritional needs of his family and his children's medical expenses. He owns 3 sheep that he keeps in good health with appropriate veterinary care.

Tahirou is generous and has a good reputation in his village. He is asking for another loan to expand his livestock farming business.
