A loan helped to buy fertilizer for her vegetable farm, and also to import more fruit to sell at the market.

Kilisitina's story

Kilisitina is a widow with five grown children. It has been seven years since her husband passed away, and she still lives with her five children. Two of her children work in their own careers, while the other three help her with the family business.

Kilisitina runs a business selling fruits and vegetables from her own market stall in town. Her two sons spend their time at the family's farm, growing diverse types of vegetables, both for commercial purposes and the family's consumption. They also import fruit from overseas and resell it from their own stall. Kilisitina runs the business and makes sure it stays active for the benefit of her five children.

She is applying for a loan to buy fertilizer for the farm, and also to import more fruit for the market. Her next plan is to renovate her house and build a bigger home.
