Tierras Negras Group's story

Rafael is 61 years old, married, father of four children, has a business of a grocery store for six years. He started his activities because before he worked daily in the field where he traveled a lot, on each trip he brought products that could not be found in the community so he began to increase his sales and after that he applied for a loan with FUNDENUSE to inject the business also received support from a friend who is out of the country. He applied again for a credit with FUNDENUSE, but this is his first one with Kiva for the purchase of rice, beans, sugar, oil, bread, eggs, coffee, etc. His future plans are to expand the infrastructure of his business. He belongs to the solidarity group "Tierras Negras" together with Jose Reynaldo who also has a grocery business and Jose Felix who fattens pigs.
