A loan helped a member to expand their business.

03 Por Un Exito Group's story

The “03 Por un Éxito” group is from El Alto, Bolivia, and is made up of 9 members who are friends. The group is directed by a board and Sofía is the President.

The loan will benefit many small business owners, including Sofia. Currently, she runs a business selling fish at her stall, which is located in Los Yungas. She tells us she started her business three years ago on her own initiative.

She is requesting a loan to buy fish which she will acquire from the wholesalers in the city of La Paz, and then she will sell it at her stall to increase her capital.

This way of working allows her to earn a living. She's a 48-year-old single mother of three.

She aspires to grow her business and have her own home.

NOTE:
The photo has only three people from this group due to the emergency brought on by Covid-19, which restricts the number of people gathering together in one place.

In this group: Carmen Marisol, David Enrique, Ana Maria, Robert Gaston, Max, Lourdes Lucero, Gabriela, Jose Manuel, Sofia
