A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child’s education needs.

Wasiah's story

Good day lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Wasiah. She is 38 years old and married with one daughter and one son. Wasiah is a housewife who takes care of her children and her husband is a laborer. One of her children is still in school. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their family is the implementation of school from home that uses an online system. This made it difficult for their child to access the course materials and send assignments to the teacher.

She has applied for a loan of 3,000,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child’s education needs. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using her husband’s income as a laborer.

Wasiah is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children and improves the living conditions and creates a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank to all lenders.

Note: The boy in the photo is Wasiah’s son who is still in school.

This loan is special because:

It allows students of every economic background to pursue education.
